Ghana Court Orders Temporary Halt on Commercialization of GM Crops

BREAKING: The Fast Track High Court in Accra has put a temporary ban on the cultivation of GM crops in Ghana until the end of the court case expected later this year. A civil society group, Food Sovereignty Ghana (FSG) dragged the Ministry to court seeking an injunction to prevent the Ministry from commercializing the sale of Genetically Modified (GM) foods in the country.
